On Monday, February 23, 2026, God saw fit to call his son back home. Oliver Belton Johnson, Jr. was the 2nd child born to the union of Oliver Belton Johnson, Sr. and Viola Norris Johnson. Born on December 17, 1934, in Leon County, Elder Johnson (as he was affectionally called by many) was reared in Christ from a very young age. He became a faithful member of Restitution Revival over 50 years ago under the leadership of Prophet Vernon D. Heslep. He remained a faithful member of the extended ministry, Restitution Revival United under the leadership of Pastor Sha-Ron Heslep until his last breath. His presence rang loud-he sang, he praised God, he loved hard, he worked hard. He embodied the true character of Faith, Resilience, Love and Strength.
