Dorothy Lee (Perry) Farris

On April 19, 2024, our beloved Dorothy Lee (Perry) Farris went home to be with the Lord, at 81 years old. Dorothy was born to Lee and Ada Perry in La Feria, Texas on May 8, 1942. Dorothy and Ben moved to La Grange in 1990. and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years where she touched many lives.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Lee Perry, two sisters, Lois Black and Ruthie, her life-long love. Ben Ray Farris and two sons, Stephen Ray Farris and Marty Lee Farris.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Washington (Raymond) of La Grange, son, Ben C. Farris and his children, Julia and Linken of La Grange, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Farris of Round Top.

Grandchildren, Ashley Farris and children, Jaxon and Jaelyn of Round Top, Victoria (Neal) Soester and children Neal and Noah, Cassandra (Kyle) and children, Abianna, Kori, and James of Bellville.

She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Miracle Temple COGIC of La Grange 1008 E. Fannin Street La Grange, Texas
